If you are using Windows, download WinRar to extract this file. You should be able to get it from www.download.com I just successfully used these drivers for my 3550 Deskjet. The install was real straight forward.

Worked on my psc 2210, although I also had to load the most current version of the software from HP - All-in-One Software/Driver ver4.20. After loading, print, scan (OCR too!) and copy functions all work. One glitch seems to be that scans must be started from the PC and not the printer. Thanks for the drivers!

If it's any help to others, I finally managed to get my photosmart 7762 working on xp64. There are no xp64 drivers, but here's how - Download the vista consolidated (32/64) drivers, and attempt to install. The package will fail with invalid operating system but will have extracted to a temp folder (about 90Mb). Copy out these files BEFORE you click okay to the error. Once you have this folder, look for the inf files - there are 6: hppunp2a_64.inf, hppmpus2_p2a.inf etc Open each one and change the windows versions from Vista to XP - i.e. NTAMD64.6 -> NTAMD64.5 NTAMD64.6.0 -> NTAMD64.5.1 NT.6 -> NT.5 NT.6.0 -> NT.5.1 NTx86.6 -> NT.5 NTx86.6.0 -> NTx86.5.1 (theoretically you only need to change the 64bit ones but I did them all to be simpler) Then plug in the printer via USB and each time it prompts for software, select search for driver and point it at your directory. It does this 3-4 times. You get something about a missing HP file but point it back at the directory and it finds it. That seems to do the trick - it works! I did get one further missing device warning called a "HP Device" at the end - didn't seem to be needed, but to clean it up - select 'choose my own driver', go down to HP and find the photosmart driver marked DOT4PRINT - click past the two warnings, and it then installs. Hope this helps any xp64 users out there!

well... there is a problem here with that link going to a page that has no "download" BUT! i think i found the solution!!!! google search for "x64Drv5.64.0.17.exe" that is the name of the file that is needed! or just go here: http://download.cnet.com/x64Drv5-64-0-17-exe/3000-2116_4-184036.html

I need help. hp ps c7280 all-in-one having problems on win 7 64 bit os. when i had this 7280 on my xp the printer did not work and hp had me download software for the 990c. Now it is 2yr old and out of warranty so hp does not help me. I used Revo uninstaller to take off all the hp software. I am downloading the c7280 software from hp. but i dont think it will work as i downloaded this earlier. This 7280 was working before today and now it is not.
