This is taken from the D-Tools forums:

Daemon Tools v4 will support Windows XP x64. That basically means that it has to be rewritten from scratch. DT uses a driver that's deeply anchored in the system, which is necessary for being able to fool copy protections. This takes a very long time. It's not just a simple printer driver, emulating copy protections is a very, very complex task, please don't forget that!

As of today version 4 is still not released.

I've been looking for a solution as well, although I don't need any fancy copy protection emulation.  Alcohol 120% doesn't have x64 support, Daemon tools has a beta, Virtual Clonedrive doesn't (although ElaborateBytes' other products do), I'm eager for SOME solution.

D-Tools will come out with a good one - eventually. It's a pain but the wait tends to be worth it Huh? [:^)]

Yeah, I wan't to say hello to everybody first :)
Look what I found on the net: A Virtual Drive Driver/Programm! Runs very well!! It's 64bit written!
Try it! Read install.txt for info!

Alcohol is also working on support.  I emailed them a while ago (coincidentally, when I got XP x64.)

    Hi!

I'm planning to install 64bit and I'm wondering if the virtual drive  function  in Nero 7 Ultra will work? I really don't want to buy another program to have this function working properly!

    Thanks in advance!

Well, supposedly Daemon Tools v4 is to launch on Monday (the 14th.)  And that'll be free...

So while I can't tell you anything about Nero, at least that's good news.

It is that.  :)  I wish I could confirm it, but you'd think they'd mention a delay early.  Of course, they didn't last time so who knows.  :p

I just stopped using my x64 after I screwed it with a beta app :p

    You're welcome, btw :)
