Geeked [8-|] This site is just for Windows x64 Edition?

    Hi,

I used to visit here a lot back when I was using Windows x64 but I have since switched to 64-bit Vista. I haven't visited the forums recently but when I just went to post a problem I've been having with my video card drivers, I couldn't find the appropriate place to post because the only support forums here say Windows x64 Edition Support. Might want to look into that :)

Well it says Windows x64 Edition. That means, the x64 Editions of all versions of Windows. To clarify, Windows XP x64, Windows Vista x64, Windows Server 2003 (and R2) x64, and Windows Server 2008 x64.

Well I consider myself a power user, and I didn't catch onto that ... Windows XP x64 is an entirely different operating system than Windows XP, so when I see "x64" that's the version of Windows I think of ... as opposed to Windows Vista where 32-bit and 64-bit disks get bundled together in the box and you use the one that matches your hardware.

I might have a weird thought process but the point is ... if I didn't catch onto it, it's most likely confusing to other people than just me. Sometimes you don't always want to do what's 100% correct but what the majority of people THINK is 100% correct.

you should rush out and upgrade to this new version of Windows immediately, right? WRONG! What the media ISN'T going to tell you testking 642-654 is that unless you routinely use your computer to do complex arithmetic functions with integers between 0 and 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 [the number of pennies under Bill Gates' couch cushion], Windows XP Professional x64 Edition simply testking 70-561 isn't meant for you. Worse still, you have to have a special type of computer -- one with a brand new Intel Xeon, Intel Itanium, or AMD testking 70-444 Athlon 64 processor running inside of it -- to be able to run this new version of Windows.
