    start to learn win64 programming

    hi everyone ,

    I just a one who learn programming with the c++ basic language concepts with the

    linux environment . Now I want to move to the windows world . I cee that there are

    many more books and resources for the win32 programming , but I never see any

    books or tutorials for the win64 programming .

     

    as I feel , as I young I want to learn the x64 programming .Technology is for the new

    ppl no ! so can hereanyone tell me some tutorials or start guides free on the internet .

     

     

    Hmm, another question , to be a application programmer for that win64 , what areas

    should I master ?

    Windows x64 still uses the same Win32 API's.  So all of your 32-Bit Win32 API knowledge would transfer right over.  I would check out this article on MSDN:  x64 Primer: Everything You Need To Know To Start Programming 64-Bit Windows Systems.
