    iTunes

Previously, I had iTunes installed on my main x64 machine, and I had absolutely no difficulties with it.  When using iTunes in the last week, it informed me that there was a newer version to update to.  I took a vacation over to apple.com and downloaded the newest iTunes.  When the download finally finished (slow even on a broadband connection) I attempted to install the newer version of iTunes to no success.  The setup file cancelled itself because it said it was not compatible with "64-bit operating systems".

Should us sad folks with iPod's that truely hate Apple but usually use iTunes just for the ease with iPod's become worried because iTunes is darksiding?  Tell me what you guys think and if you guys are having problems with it too.
