    Bink Video Problems

    Hi there,

I have been using Windows xp64 Pro for a couple of months now and apart from the fact i cant get drivers for my netgear wireless card everything else has been running fine.

When Tomb Raider Ledgends came out i installed the demo and it didnt work, i just put it down to a corrupt download and never bothered again.

Recently when i purchased Battlefield 2 i noticed that all of the intro videos and the menu background menus were corrupted and playing incorrectly. The sound opperates ok and the game still runs however it is quite annoying seeing random blocks of colour in the background.

I have been searching google trying to find out if anyone else has had this problem and it turns out that bink video from RAD tools seems to be the common factor. (I have read of people  having the same issue with trl and civ 4 which also use bink video)

I am running on an amd 3700+ with a 6800gs (512mb) which is perfectly capable of running the game. And i know that on windows xp 32 it runs fine. I am using the lateste build of DX9.0c and have all the latest nvidia drivers.

You guys with ATI cards do you have the same problem?

    Thanks
