Daemon Tools is incompatible with Windows 7 Beta 1

Well, this just in from the “this sucks” department… the latest version of Daemon Tools is not compatible with Windows 7 Beta 1.  Hopefully they will update it soon!

Update: PowerISO’s Virtual Drive works just fine.  Too bad it’s not free.

Update2: If you find any other working alternatives, leave a comment and let me know what worked for you!  Obviously please make sure it works under x64 and 32-bit!

This one works with both x86 and x64 and its Freeware!

How about SlySofts Virtual DVD Clone. Free tool! No tray icon, but explorer integration. Also fixes the unable-to-play-Blu-ray-if mounted-via-Daemon-Tools bug

SlySoft Virtual Clone Drive works fine. May be some "start in previous windows version" settings are needed, but not more

Sorry for DT, but the same terrible mess with incompatible daemons occured when we started using Vista. Why, daemons, why?

Strange indeed I am sure it would not take very much to make this work for the software writer of this program especially since there is a large group of people asking for it. Yes W7 is a Beta however the fact it is a Beta is pointless I still think it would be simple to make a functional version however I do not know how to do this never the less I would think the person that can would be easy for them to do so. Sounds like lazzzzeeeness to me think I will try the slysoft. See ya next year Daemon when you wake up.
