How to resize the OS partion in windows Vista without Rebooting!

 

Size of my os partition.

  1. Click on the vista orb(start menu)
  2. Right Click Computer
  3. Click Manage
  4. Accept the UAC Dialog
  5. Select Disk Management on the left hand side of the Computer Management Window
  6. Right Click C:\ or what ever drive leter you wish to resize.
  7. Select Shrink Volume.
  8. Enter in the new size of the partition and select shrink.
  9. Next right click on the new unallocated Partiton and Click format and enter in all the options you would like.

You have no resized your partition in 10 eazy steps without Rebooting Windows Vista.
