A personal experience with the New York Times Reader

During the past couple of months and during WinHEC 2006 many people have talked about the “New York Times News Reader”. Today during lunch in the Expo hall we sat down with Kam Vedbrat (Lead Program Manager – Windows Client Team) and his colleagues. I got a personal demo of the New York Times Reader. Thanks to Pablo Fernicola, Program Manager on the Windows Presentation Foundation (aka Avalon) Team.

After getting hands on experience with “New York Times News Reader”, All I can say is that it is really sweet, It will change the way newspapers are distributed.

It is laid out so nicely that I would rather be reading the New York Times on My computer then wasting money and natural resources on the actual paper.
